Annual Return

The reminder

Filing an annual return online for the first time

if you have never used the business registries website, you will first need to create a user account. once you have done this, search for your company, and click request authority.  once you obtain authority for the company you will be able to submit the annual return online.

Information required to complete the annual return

filing an annual return is an opportunity to confirm and update information held on the register about the company. some of the details you will be required to provide are:

  • Company address details
  • Location of the share register if divided
  • Location of records if not held at the registered office
  • Company director details
  • Share parcel details
  • Shareholder details including any transfers

Late fees and Removal

you have one month to submit your annual return. after that time you will have to pay a late fee. if your annual return is more than 6 months late, your company will be removed from the company register.
